Southern Illinois Healthcare's Community Benefits department facilitates Healthy Community Coalitions in four southern Illinois counties. Fostering community collaboration and leveraging the collective resources of agencies serving southern Illinois residents, the SIH Healthy Communities initiative is working to improve the overall health and well-being of those residing in communities served by SIH hospitals.
