Through an alliance between the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and Southern Illinois Healthcare, southern Illinoisans have access to the same expert care that has earned RIC the ranking of “Best Rehabilitation Hospital in America” by U.S. News & World Report every year since 1991.

Sports Medicine services are offered Rehab Unlimited in Carbondale and Herrin. The facilities offer aquatic therapy, an isokinetic testing system, as well as a full line of cardiovascular and strength training equipment.

Training is provided by National Athletic Trainers’ Association Certified Athletic Trainers and National Strength and conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists.
