Gastroenterology
St. Joseph provides an efficient gastroenterology unit to diagnose gastric or intestinal medical conditions. Gastroscopy and colonoscopy are procedures that may be performed in this unit.
Cardiac Diagnostics
Heart disorders can be diagnosed at St. Joseph. A variety of cardiac tests including echocardiography, holter-monitoring, event monitoring, and electrocardiograms (EKG or ECG) can provide an accurate diagnosis of heart conditions.
Sleep Disorders Center
If a physician suspects a patient is suffering from a sleeping disorder, he or she may order a study in the Sleep Disorders Center. People with symptoms of insomnia, sleep apnea or narcolepsy stay overnight while special technologists monitor their sleep patterns to identify any problems.
Respiratory Care
Respiratory Care is responsible for initiating and continuing respiratory care services ordered by physicians and is available 24 hours a day. The respiratory department also performs a variety of tests including arterial blood gas analysis, electrocardiograms (EKG or ECG), treadmill stress tests and pulmonary function tests.

The laboratory is a full-service testing facility offering state-of-the-art equipment to meet the needs of patients and referring physicians.
