About Provider
Biography
Kelli Kirkpatrick, a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner, brings a wealth of experience and compassion to her role at SIH. With a background as an RN in Emergency Departments and Intensive Care Units, Kelli has honed her skills in acute care settings. However, it was her desire to advocate for and support the geriatric population through their later years in life that led her to specialize in this field.
At SIH since 2016, Kelli's journey began as an RN in the ED, gradually transitioning to the role of Nurse Practitioner in 2019. She is deeply committed to her patients, particularly those who may not have families to advocate for them. Patients visiting Kelli can expect a caring and attentive provider who listens intently and strives to manage chronic conditions while ensuring that medical information is communicated clearly and effectively.
Outside of work, Kelli finds joy in spending time with her family, including her 16-year-old son who keeps her busy with his football and basketball activities. She values the close-knit community atmosphere of the region, enjoying the opportunity to establish meaningful relationships with both families and patients.
Kelli's favorite aspect of her job lies in the gratitude expressed by her geriatric patients for the care they receive. She finds it rewarding to witness the progress of acute rehab patients as they recover and reunite with their families. Moving forward, Kelli aims to continue providing compassionate care and making a positive impact on the lives of those she serves at SIH.
