HMC Foundation

Harrisburg Medical Center Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation founded on June 13, 2001. Its major role is to raise and provide funds to further the mission of Harrisburg Medical Center and make a positive difference in the lives of individuals and the communities we serve. Over the years, we have made donations to help purchase the latest equipment for our hospital, aided in the expansion of HMC’s facility, and given financial support to bring in much needed services to southeastern Illinois.

HMC is honored to be a part of the SIH family and a leading healthcare organization in southeastern Illinois. As a not-for-profit organization, the generosity of our community members and businesses help lead the way in our pursuit of providing top quality care to our patients. These gifts allow us to operate and offer the same services that larger hospitals provide…close to home.

How your gift helps

In the 1960’s, a group of physicians, surgeons, and laymen came together to bring a state-of-the-art hospital to Harrisburg, Illinois. They saw the need and stepped forward to leave their legacy on our community. Fifty-five years later, you have the opportunity to make your mark on our community.

HMC accepts pledges payable over one to five years as well as monetary donations, estate planning provisions, and other appreciated assets. Naming opportunities are also available. You may make your gift in honor or memory of an individual, family, or corporation.
