Diagnostics
  • Ankle-Bracchial Index (ABI) – One of the most common tests to measure blood flow is to measure blood pressure in different parts of the legs and arms. The readings indicate whether there is adequate blood flow to the feet.
  • Exercise Stress Test – Since leg pain is one of the primary symptoms of vessel issues, Prairie physicians may want to examine how blood vessels and flow react to walking and exercise.
  • Imaging Tests – A variety of imaging tests may then be required to measure the extent of the blockage including: Ultrasound, Angiography, CT and Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA)
