Finding Support Has Never Been Easier

The 2024 SIH Community Health Needs Assessment(CHNA) identified Access to Care, Behavioral Health (Mental Health and Substance Misuse), and Chronic Disease Prevention, Management & Treatment as priority health issues for the SIH service area.

A theme identified throughout the SIH CHNA was the need to address social drivers of health issues and to connect individuals to resources in the community such as transportation, housing, food pantries, mental health and substance misuse agencies aFind nd much more.

To better assist those in the communities we serve, SIH partnered with Healthy Southern Illinois Delta Network and Southern Illinois Coalition for Children and Families as well as any many other organizations to select and build out a centralized platform for accessing social services, community programs, and essential resources across Southern Illinois – FindHelp Southern Illinois.

The platform powered by findhelp.org, a national social care network, is a comprehensive resource directory that highlights free or reduced-cost programs and services. Users can independently search by zip code, by program name or in one of 10 categories to locate programs and services based on their needs.
