Every Nurse Has a Story: Different Paths, Same Calling
SIH kicked off National Nurses Week by honoring outstanding nurses and care teams during the 3rd Annual Nursing Awards Dinner at Walker's Bluff Casino Resort. SIH nurses, leaders and guests attended the event, which celebrated excellence in patient care, leadership, education and teamwork across the organization.
The evening recognized nurses and teams who go above and beyond in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients throughout the region. Award winners represented a variety of departments and specialties from across SIH facilities.

The evening also congratulated nurses for professional achievements and milestones, including Daisy Award recipients, national conference presenters, certification earners, advanced degree graduates and participants in the SPARK Program.
The event serves as a meaningful way to recognize the dedication, compassion and professionalism of SIH nurses while celebrating the impact they make every day in the lives of patients and families.
