All SIH facilities and the SIH Medical Group comply with federal civil rights laws and do not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, age, disability, or sex.
We provide free language assistance services to all patients, family members, and companions, including qualified interpreters for non-English speakers and communication aids for individuals with disabilities such as sign language interpreters and materials in alternative formats (large print, audio, electronic). To request these services at any SIH location, contact the Nursing Supervisor or Interpretive Services Department at your facility.
If you believe that we have failed to provide these services or discriminated in another way on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, or sex, you may file a grievance with the Patient Experience Department or by calling the Nursing Supervisor at the facility. You may file a grievance in person or by mail. If you need help filing a grievance, a Patient Experience Representative is available to help you M-F, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
