If you are interested in a non-clinical student rotation and do not see your student type listed above, please email students@sih.net.
Students who are interested in experiences to gain entry into a training program or job shadowing will not be approved for a student rotation and should instead apply for our Job Shadowing program.
Student rotations that involve direct patient care can be found on our Clinical Student Rotation page.
To get started, you must complete the Non-Clinical Student Application by clicking the Apply Now button below.
Please note: If you are not a current SIH employee, you or your school representative must submit documentation of the requirements listed below. Email these required documents in a single email to students@sih.net.
Flu vaccination if rotating between September 1 - March 31
Evidence of two-step TB skin test or QuantiFERON-TB Gold blood test within the past 12 months
Headshot photo of yourself with a blank wall background
Resume or CV (optional)
Proof of health insurance
Favorable criminal background check
The flu vaccine may not be available during certain months of the year. Please continue with the application process, get the vaccine once it's available, and email students@sih.net proof of your flu vaccination before to your clinical start date.
Our preference is to have individuals submit a completed application which includes documentation of COVID-19 vaccination, flu vaccination (September 1 - March 31), and annual TB test. It is best to wait until you have collected this documentation prior to starting the application. If you are unable to submit this documentation during the application, you can email them to students@sih.net. All requirements must be met prior to your student rotation experience.
I've completed the Student Application and submitted my required documentation, now what?
A member of our SIH team will be emailing you to finalize your application and help coordinate your student rotation experience. All students must be processed through our Human Resources department and have their SIH Student Badge prior to starting their student rotation.
Student rotations at SIH are highly sought-after because of our exceptional team members & commitment to our community. If you wish to do a second student rotation within one year of your first, you need to recomplete the application. However, you do not need to resubmit the required documentation.
